SANDYFORD 11/12/13

Today I had my appointment at the Sandyford Gender Clinic in Glasgow, I went myself which I'm quite proud of, even though my family are very supportive!

So basically what happened today was I went in to the clinic got my appointment and stuff, Dr Wilkinson called my name and stuff, we went in the little room and started to talk about hormones. He said to me that I have to sign a form to agree to get on with hormones! He basically went through everything to do with the hormones I will be taking and the risks and the good things that will happen, he also gave me a booklet type thing to read so I can have more understanding on hormones as I know hardly anything. He asked me what has been happening in my life since the last time we talked and stuff, I basically just told him about my work, me being in The Sun and about the Channel 4 documentary that I will be featured in and that was all! I signed the form and can gladly said that within the next few weeks I will be on my hormones!!!! I'm so excited, as I wrote in my blog yesterday that I felt like my life had just stopped, now I feel like I'm finally moving on in life and I'm oh so excited for the future now! I cannot believe I'll be on hormones soon, he said hopefully I'll be on them before new year!

Oh and he also is referring me for lazer hair removal and voice therapy

Sorry & Update

I'm very sorry for being such a crap blogger haha! I always forget things! But I'm going to tell you all an update on my life at the moment!

Today the 10th of December 2013, I had an appointment to get some cartilage removed from my nose. I had it done at around 3:30pm and I was out at about 4:00pm. It was a mad experience, very mad! I just really wanted it removed so I went to my GP and she referred me to get it done! It was so easy, I didn't even feel a thing! It was rather relaxing to be honest! I'll show you a photo of before and after now..

I absolutely love the results even though both photos were taken today (10/12/13).

Recently I was in the Scottish Sun News paper, telling my story about my transition and stuff, it was absolutely an amazing experience and I can't wait to do more media work. I'm also one of the cast in a new documentary for Channel 4. I can't say too much at the minute but when I get told I can, I will write a massive blog about it!

On the 11/12/13 I have another appointment at the Sandyford Clinic in Glasgow, hopefully this time I'll get my hormones, I feel like it's time. I feel like nothing is happening when it comes down to transitioning, so tomorrow I plan on telling the doctor that I want my hormones as I feel like my life is at a halt which I do not like. As always (at least almost always) I'll come back from my appointment and I'll write a blog on what happened.

Today I went to Sandyford Clinic in Glasgow, for the 3rd or 4th time, I was pretty nervous about it and scared to what they would say but it went pretty well, once again I was asked lots and lots of questions and it was quite awkward, I can't for the life of me remember the doctors name but he was lovely, at the end of the session he asked me if I wanted to get my blood taken, I was so excited, I had never done it before haha! I was actually so excited to get my blood taken, it wasn't even sore! The next appointment should be me getting on hormones! I'm so excited!!!

UPDATE

I've got another appointment at the Sandyford Clinic on Wednesday, I'm quite excited for it. I wonder what they're going to say haha!

I was at the LGBT national gathering on Friday-Sunday it was so much fun I met so many people and it was such a laugh! Stayed up for basically the whole weekend. When I was there I done like 12 peoples make up for the Award Ceremony and the disco, I was loving life! The room I was in was like a salon haha!

Hello, I'm very very sorry for my lack of posting, I've just had so much stuff going on at the moment. I'll give you a short update, I've got another appointment at the Sandyford Clinic in Glasgow this month, I'm quite nervous it's been a while since I've been. For some reason they're not very frequent, I had to call the clinic to see if they were doing anything about another appointment, the last time I went they said I would get a letter in 2 weeks and I had to call them about 2 month after my appointment for them to send me a letter for my next appointment.

I'm buzzing for my next appointment though, I'll do another update as soon as I can!!

Sorry for not posting about the second clinic appointment, I can't even remember the reason.
The second one was quite boring, it was just more and more questions!
I went with my friend Marge and it was a laugh! Until I went into the little room and basically, he asked me lots of questions about my past again which was quite depressing. I haven't heard anything from the clinic yet, I'm contemplating calling them up to see if I hear anything..
I was in the bath earlier and I was just sitting looking at myself. I'm horrified by myself without make up. I feel horrible without it, like actually horrible! I'm so self conscious, I really don't feel myself without my make up and my clothes.

I'm not in a good mood tonight. :(((

SANDYFORD

I have my second appointment at the clinic on the 3rd of April. I'm actually really nervous for this one, not as nervous as the first but close!
I don't know what's going to happen at this one either, I will write on this when I get home from the clinic to explain what happened and what's going to happen in the future. Right now nothing it really happening, I have the doctors tomorrow (26.03.2013) but that's for a different reason.
I really want to see about getting my voice trained, I just don't know if I have the patience for that yet but we'll wait and see! x

SANDYFORD

It will be my second time at the gender clinic soon, I can't remember exactly when the next appointment is but I'm actually really excited for it. I'm still kinda nervous and all that jazz but that's okay. I really can't wait, it's so amazing!

I thought I'd give a little update because it's been a while since I've updated. Nothing that much has happened except I've been getting drunk a lot but that's okay hahaha! I've also been doing some modeling, which is fun. I'd love to get into it more :)
